The Lead Teller position at St. John Bank is a key role that requires a high level of knowledge and expertise in banking operations. As a Lead Teller, you will be responsible for supporting the Branch Manager and ensuring that branch activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Branch Manager in daily operations
- Ensure accurate and efficient cash handling and vault operations
- Provide excellent customer service and promote business for the Bank
- Train and support less experienced tellers and other staff members
- Stay up-to-date with banking regulations and policies
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of Teller experience, including 1 year at a supervisory level
- Working knowledge of teller procedures, equipment, and resources
- Intermediate experience in branch operation activities terminology and products and services
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures
- Intermediate PC skills, including Windows 10, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic math skills and ability to calculate interest and balance accounts
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to deal with difficult problems and work with minimal supervision
- Current driver's license and vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
