Job Summary:

COMHAR, Inc. is seeking a skilled Staff Nurse to join our team at our Long Term Structured Residences (LTSR) in Northampton County. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with psychiatric and health-related needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide health and wellness care, medication education, and therapeutic interventions to residents.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, bathing, and daily living tasks as needed.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings and Quality Improvement Program.
  • Timely report crises and unusual incidents to Nurse Manager and LTSR Director.
  • Comply with all internal and external requirements and regulations regarding record keeping and recording.

Requirements:
  • Current nursing license required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Valid PA State Criminal, FBI, and Child Abuse clearances.
  • ACT 31 required.
  • CPR w/AED and First Aid certification required.

Physical Demands:
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, and descend stairs.

Work Environment:
  • Occasional lifting, transferring of individuals with an average weight of 150 pounds.
  • Physical examination including PPD and Hep B required.
