Job Summary:

Nurse Practitioner - Employer-Based Healthcare Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as an Employer-Based Healthcare Provider. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide primary care services to employees in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care treatment to employees in an employer-based setting
  • Offer episodic care, including urgent care and extended episodic acute care
  • Manage chronic conditions and educate employees on disease management
  • Perform CLIA-waived tests, dispense medications, and oversee specimen collection
  • Collaborate with onsite employees to provide biometric screening and health education
  • Provide direct health coaching to employees and refer them to wellness programs
  • Work effectively with the healthcare team, including LPNs, to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Certified NP program
  • Active and unrestricted NP license in the respective state
  • Minimum of 3 years of NP experience in internal medicine or family practice
  • Ability to practice independently in Georgia
  • DEA licensure and prescriptive authority
  • Electronic Health Record experience
  • BLS certification

Work Schedule:

The anticipated schedule is Monday - Wednesday, 6 am - 6 pm, Thursday, 6 am - 11 am, and Saturday rotation, 6 am - 11 am, every 5th or 6th week.

This position is based in the health center in Dalton, GA.
