Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including clinics, testing, pulmonary rehab, and inpatient consults.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' respiratory needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Perform pulmonary function testing (PFT) and other respiratory therapy procedures
  • Provide education and instruction to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC-accredited program
  • 2 years of prior experience in respiratory therapy
  • Registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and current VT State license
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
  • ACLS and CPFT certifications preferred
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of respiratory care assessment and mechanical ventilation management
  • Working knowledge of respiratory equipment
  • Expert-level direct clinical care skills
  • Critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
