Job Summary

As a Maintenance Mechanic at CPP-Euclid, you will be responsible for performing highly skilled maintenance tasks on state-of-the-art equipment. Your duties will include troubleshooting and repairing foundry equipment using Standard to Advanced Maintenance skills. Documented electrical experience is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
  • Communicate with operators to troubleshoot, repair, and test equipment.
  • Document work orders and complete safety checklists.
  • Interact with team leaders and maintenance supervisors to address major repair needs.
  • Repair machines as needed and follow lock-out, tag-out procedures.
  • Attend annual RCRA training and other relevant training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or apprenticeship may be accepted.
  • General knowledge of trades with 1-2 years of experience in each.
  • Skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools.
  • Good interpersonal and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot plant equipment with supervision.
  • Ability to operate mobile maintenance equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts.
Working Environment

This role is based on the shop floor, and you will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. Safety glasses and steel-toe shoes are required in all areas of the plant.
