Position Overview:
The Senior Accounting Analyst serves as a financial consultant and advisor to various cross-functional teams, including Real Estate, Facilities & Corporate Services, Security, Corporate Legal, and Corporate Finance.

This position reports to the Director of Corporate Accounting and plays a crucial role in managing the Corporate Profit & Loss statement, delivering monthly insights and financial analysis regarding departmental expenditures.


Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Real Estate, Facilities, Corporate Services, and Security teams to:
  • Enhance management of functional expenses, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives; assist in vendor contract negotiations.
  • Oversee and project capital expenditures for real estate and facilities projects; conduct lease versus buy evaluations.
  • Develop Management Expense Analyses (MEAs) for investments in real estate, facilities, and security, and manage fixed asset retirements.
  • Administer and forecast functional expenses for Corporate Finance and Corporate Legal.
  • Support legal expense oversight and ensure adherence to accounting policies.
  • Supervise the Corporate Profit & Loss statement, providing monthly insights for senior management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing financial guidance.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong analytical capabilities, particularly in discounted cash flow and financial statement analysis.
  • Proactive approach with excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and BPC-FIN.
  • Experience in real estate finance is advantageous but not mandatory.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with the opportunity for remote work once a week for eligible employees.
