Job DescriptionYou will be a 'hunter' type responsible for new business development and onboarding new logos to the firm. You will represent our company's products and services, starting with a deep understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.
You will meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics. You will generate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing your daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
You will develop and implement territory action plans through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
Daily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include maintaining working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
You will identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycles to close new business in all service categories offered.
You will possess in-depth knowledge of all service and solution offerings and be able to coordinate demos and relay objection handling.
You will prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations.
You will achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years in sales within a technology and service industry setting
- At least 3 years selling infrastructure related services and products
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM, preferably Salesforce and Hubspot
- Ability to build trust in customers by presenting offerings with confidence and integrity
- Ability to travel and attend off-hour events locally and nationally
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven success rate at levels above quotas
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's of business administration or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of experience.
They must establish established business relationships in the local business community and possess industry knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus presentation skills are essential, along with leadership qualities necessary to lead a team.
Ability to manage time effectively and to multi-task is also crucial.
