Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize residential units, including resident rooms and common areas, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
  • Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Send or bring linens to the laundry area after use, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Maintain dining areas in a clean and sanitized condition, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Clean, dust, sanitize, sweep, mop, and vacuum daily of assigned work areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Remove garbage and biohazards from assigned areas, working closely with contracted vendors to ensure efficient and effective waste management.
  • Perform cleaning duties and functions as contracted by independent residents, providing exceptional service and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • A high school education or equivalent and up to one month related experience or training.
  • Desirable experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting, preferably a minimum of 6 months.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical activities such as balancing, kneeling, reaching, crouching, pulling, standing, manual dexterity, pushing, stooping, and grasping.
  • Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.
