About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at AtWork Group. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Assist the Director of Engineering with the opening of new projects, managing contractors, and ensuring building system inspections are conducted.
  • Carry out daily inspections of public areas and respond promptly to any issues that arise.
  • Offer maintenance and repairs to guestrooms, public areas, and administrative buildings.
  • Collaborate with the front office manager and housekeeper to discuss operations and ensure seamless communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.
  • Ability to read system schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and understanding of hotel system procedures.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with HVAC systems.
  • Experience with mechanical equipment repairs, building automation systems, and energy management.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Computer skills.
