Job Summary

Madera USD is seeking a highly qualified Resource Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic and behavioral support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, resource rooms, and other designated areas.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Assist students with completing assignments, projects, and other academic tasks, as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, as needed.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as special education, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
Requirements
  • Must possess or be eligible for appropriate California credential.
  • Autism certification and Dual Credential Multiple Subject with English Learner Authorization/Mild to Moderate Credential Preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of successful teaching experience.
  • Completion of student teaching.
