Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
  • Order, prepare, calibrate, store, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for routine and on-call procedures, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Perform quality assurance on cameras and various instruments, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Operate various radiation detection devices, maintaining a high level of proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Ensure proper charges are entered and physician orders are verified, maintaining accurate records and facilitating seamless communication.
  • Participate in maintenance of departmental records, manuals, and inventory, contributing to a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the department, upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Answer phones, greet patients, physicians, and the public, providing exceptional customer service and a warm welcome.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology, with ARRT-N or CNMT licensure.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification.
