Site Reliability Engineer II

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing scenarios for our customers, ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement scenarios for our customers, ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize work items, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Develop and maintain code that is extensible, maintainable, and meets the team's and Microsoft's quality standards.
- Participate in code review processes, gathering feedback and learning about coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with others to create a clear and articulated plan for testing and assuring quality of solutions.
- 4+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration, or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 1+ year of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration, or a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including an active TS and willingness to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph) or an active TS/SCI and willingness to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph).
- Ability to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance.
- 6+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration, or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration, or a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 2+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
At Microsoft, we offer a competitive salary range of $98,300 - $193,200 per year, with a different range applicable to specific work locations, including the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area. We also offer benefits and other compensation, including a Microsoft Cloud background check and citizenship verification.
