Perinatal Mental Health Therapist

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Perinatal Mental Health Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed therapist to provide mental health services to pregnant and postpartum women. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the perinatal and postpartum population and be knowledgeable about maternal mental health and attachment theories.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, dyadic, and family therapy to women diagnosed with a perinatal or postpartum mental health disorder
  • Assess and diagnose clients, providing mental health treatment and support
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in weekly supervision and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a field related to providing direct treatment
  • Knowledge of maternal mental health and attachment theories
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the treatment team
