We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Project Engineer to join our team at LS Technologies, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the migration of telecommunications circuits carrying critical services from legacy infrastructure to modernized infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the activation and migration of critical services to a new and modernized telecommunications infrastructure.
- Facilitate the installation of terrestrial, wireless, and satellite telecommunications systems, including IP network interface devices, customer premise equipment, and antennas at various locations.
- Conduct on-site surveys and provide on-site assistance to resolve complex network issues.
- Manage and track large-scale telecommunications projects and schedules.
- Assist in planning and requirements validation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with on-site coordinators, customers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with FAA organizations to support the overall mission of their organization.
- Bachelor's degree and 11-15 years of relevant work experience.
- FAA/DoD experience in telecommunications infrastructure/campus environments preferred.
- Experience in telecommunications standards and terminology, including LTE/4G/5G, VoIP, IP, Cloud, Carrier Ethernet, Pseudowire, and GPS network timing protocol.
- Experience delivering enterprise networking protocols, firewalls, edge protection, gateways, and fiber optics cabling and equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation, and project management skills, written and oral communication skills, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and KSN/SharePoint.
- Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities.
- Ability to effectively initiate actions, collaborate with others, and drive action items to resolution.
- Work location: Current Residence.
- Work Hours: Hybrid. Must be able to cover Eastern Time Zone core duty hours (ie 8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST).
- Travel: maybe 20%.
- Physical requirements:
- Extended Computer Use: Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer terminal.
- Mobility: Ability to move around the office environment to access computer hardware, networking equipment, and server rooms.
- Ability to climb stairs and access confined spaces in large and remote Air Traffic Control facilities.
- Dexterity: Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate computer equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform tasks requiring precision.
- Sitting/Standing: Both prolonged sitting and occasional standing may be required for troubleshooting and attending to system issues.
- Background check: Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

CompensationSalary at LS Technologies, LLC is determined by a wide array of factors, including education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.
