We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electronics Specialist to join our team at Kenny's Auto Accessories & Collision Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting a wide range of automotive electronic systems.
This includes audio systems, security systems, remote starts, CarPlay upgrades, multi-camera setups, radar, GPS tracking, LED light upgrades, light bars, and commercial vehicle lighting.
Key Responsibilities- Install and troubleshoot various automotive electronic systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Effectively communicate with management, coworkers, and customers to provide excellent customer service and support.
- Explain and demonstrate products to customers, with the ability to upsell additional services and provide expert recommendations.
- Work efficiently both in a team environment and independently, with minimal supervision and a high level of autonomy.
- Maintain installation parts inventory and ensure a clean and safe work area, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Maintain and repair tools and equipment as needed, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Be open to working overtime as required, with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
- Current MECP Master Certification or Installer Academy Credentials (or equivalent), demonstrating expertise and knowledge in automotive electronics.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable installation and troubleshooting experience with a diverse product mix, including brands such as Kicker, Alpine, Compustar, Directed, K-40, Advent, Rostra, and Brand Motion.
- Previous customer service and sales experience is a plus, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service and support.
- We are looking for a highly capable technician with the drive to excel and earn more, with leadership potential and a strong work ethic.
