Under the general direction of the Executive Director and Wellness Director, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administering medications to residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications according to physician orders on the medication administration record (MAR)
- Document medications administered on the MAR in accordance with company policy
- Conduct narcotic counts at the beginning and end of every shift in accordance with company policy and procedure
- Provide all necessary care and services to assigned residents and assist other caregivers as needed
- Work collaboratively with peers and other team members
- Participate in and support the resident-centered activities program
- Monitor for environmental safety hazards
- Assist in a variety of tasks related to dining
- Excellent communication skills and a compassion for older adults
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work collaboratively with peers and other team members
