Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Controller to join our team at Global Medical Response. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring daily activities for our 135 maintenance operations, ensuring all maintenance performed is addressed in RAMCO, and coordinating efforts to return aircraft to service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily activities for 135 maintenance operations and receive calls from the field regarding aircraft being placed out of service for maintenance.
  • Create all out-of-service maintenance pages and update OOS maintenance records.
  • Initiate calls to mechanics for unscheduled maintenance and coordinate efforts to return aircraft to service, including personnel, parts, tools, and technical data.
  • Ensure all maintenance performed is addressed in RAMCO through the use of the AML.
  • Collect data for the submission of FAR part 135 and assist the Director of Maintenance in surveillance of EagleMed 135 operations for compliance.
  • Issue authorization for inspection/overhaul extensions and maintain a log of authorized inspection extensions.
  • Review and ensure proper write-ups are entered into the maintenance record.
  • Assist mechanics in troubleshooting aircraft and engine problems and work through procedures to identify proper parts required.
  • Contact technical representatives or engineering services to gather technical data, expanded damage limits, or detailed repair guidance to expedite return to service.
  • Ensure return to service procedures are followed and issue MEL control numbers for deferred maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Fixed Wing aircraft maintenance experience required.
  • King Air C90, Beechcraft B200 or equivalent maintenance experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge in aircraft, engine, and component records.
