Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Radar Software Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our RF & Intelligence Solutions Department, you will collaborate with a diverse team to create innovative solutions for complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop C++ simulations of radar and missile systems in software-based and hardware-in-the-loop configurations.
  • Create custom graphical user-interface tools using C# or LAN web-based technologies.
  • Integrate simulations into customer software environments through software interface development and plugin development.
  • Develop deployable professional software deliveries with supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with external customers to elicit requirements and define project goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Background in C++ software development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital signal processing techniques for radar.
  • Minimum of 12 years of RF or EW software engineering experience.
  • Relevant skills in one or more of the focus areas, good interpersonal skills, and a desire to work in a highly focused technical team.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and debug/test methods.
  • Ability to perform in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Working knowledge of radar fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, MATLAB, Atlassian products, Git, and Jenkins.
  • US Citizenship and possession of a secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI POLY.
