Key Responsibilities of the Express Lane Consultant
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and requests, identifying service needs, resolving issues, and recommending additional services when suitable
  • Accurately document vehicle concerns on the service order
  • Conduct a thorough visual assessment of the customer's vehicle and suggest necessary services
  • Update customer contact details, including email addresses
  • Provide a detailed and precise written estimate for labor and parts
  • Keep customers informed about the progress of their service
  • Coordinate activities to ensure repairs are completed correctly and on schedule
  • Review every completed service order for accuracy and clarity
  • Achieve or surpass targets for additional sales
  • Follow up with customers to guarantee their satisfaction
  • Complete all required training as mandated by the manufacturer and dealership
Qualifications for the Express Lane Consultant
  • Prior experience in a consulting role is essential
  • Experience in a dealership setting is highly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on workload and parts availability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks
