About the Role

This role will involve overseeing a portfolio of diverse, large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. As a Senior Construction Project Director, you will be responsible for developing and managing project plans and timelines, preparing and overseeing budgets, negotiating contracts, and supervising contractors and subcontractors.

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage project plans and timelines, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and oversee project budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure financial transparency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate contractors and subcontractors, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Quality Control: Ensure adherence to construction standards and specifications, guaranteeing exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the project's overall success and minimizing potential losses.
  • Safety: Maintain safety standards and protocols on site, prioritizing the well-being of workers and clients alike.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the main contact for clients, providing regular progress updates and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners, promoting a positive and professional image of the company.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an experienced construction professional with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction, preferably in multifamily projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
  • A college degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with relevant construction software and technologies.
  • Knowledge of all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • A passion for construction and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
