**Job Summary**

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Hospice team. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals in their homes, focusing on promoting comfort, dignity, and well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Assist with feeding, toileting, and ambulation as needed
* Monitor vital signs and report changes to the hospice nurse
* Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients

**Requirements**

* Current CNA certification in good standing
* Minimum of six months of experience as a CNA
* Ability to work with little direct supervision
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

**Job Responsibilities**

As a Hospice Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals in their homes. This will include:

* Providing personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Assisting with feeding, toileting, and ambulation as needed
* Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to the hospice nurse
* Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry tasks

**Work Environment**

As a Hospice Caregiver, you will work in the patient's home, providing care and support in a comfortable and familiar environment. You will be part of a compassionate and dedicated team, working together to promote the well-being and dignity of our patients.

**Requirements**

* Current CNA certification in good standing
* Minimum of six months of experience as a CNA
* Ability to work with little direct supervision
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

**Qualifications**

* Completed a minimum of seventy five hours of classroom and supervised practical training
* Sixteen hours of classroom must be completed prior to a mandatory sixteen hours of practical training
* Minimum of six months experience including providing personal care
* At least eighteen years of age
* Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
* Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
* Satisfactory references from previous employers
* Ability to work with little direct supervision
* Secure with issues of death/dying
* Provides a calm manner when in a patient's home
* Possess and maintains current CPR certification
* Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene
* Successfully completes a probationary period
