Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting production by troubleshooting and programming existing and new plant automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ground-level programming, new machine installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting for various programs, industrial robotics, and production systems.
  • Support production by troubleshooting and programming existing and new plant automation equipment.
  • Program and design new and existing PLC controls.
  • Programming of robots and touching up points as needed to support production needs.
  • Create and correct plant electrical drawings for equipment.
  • Work with a variety of equipment and technical systems, including PLC systems, production robots, Servo systems, and SCADA systems.
Requirements
  • A.S or B.S degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is ideal).
  • Must have experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and Robots within a manufacturing environment (Automotive experience is ideal).
  • Understanding of Fanuc Robots and ABB robot operations.
  • Experience with PLC systems, production robots, Servo systems, and SCADA systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Siemens S7 programming experience.
