Job Overview

Our mission is to empower children with essential skills while supporting their families in achieving fulfilling and successful lives together.

We are seeking enthusiastic, professional, and compassionate individuals with experience to provide one-on-one support to young children, helping them to meet and exceed their developmental goals.

Compensation: The pay rate for Registered Behavior Technicians ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. New Behavior Therapists will start at a probationary rate of $16.00 to $17.00 until they obtain their RBT credential within the first 60 days of employment. Project Brilliance offers comprehensive training and support to assist in meeting this requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized therapy to clients and facilitate peer play and social interaction groups.
  • Assist children in developing new skills and achieving personalized goals aimed at enhancing communication, social engagement, problem-solving, and daily living skills.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies, behavior modification techniques, and maintain accurate data collection.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs to provide insights on each child's progress.
  • Instruct children in appropriate social behaviors.
  • Ensure the safety of children during both indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Assist with personal care tasks as necessary, including diaper changes and potty training.
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. Center-based and home therapy options are available.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in ABA therapy is advantageous, though training will be provided.
  • Ability to engage and play with young children (ages 2-6) in diverse environments.
  • Capability to teach appropriate social behaviors.
  • Prior experience in ABA is a plus.
