Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Children's Home Society of WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the biweekly payroll processing, managing payroll records, and ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculating and distributing salaries, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees
  • Managing payroll records, entering employee data into the payroll system, and maintaining data in collaboration with human resources
  • Working in partnership with the human resource department in managing benefits withholding, payroll deductions, garnishments, tax reporting, managerial reports, and W-2s
  • Assisting employees with payroll-related concerns, inquiries, and problems with their pay
  • Communicating and collaborating with other departments, such as HR and IT
  • Conducting internal and external payroll audits
  • Providing accurate reports and notifications to the accounting/finance team

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience with payroll processing
  • Knowledge of payroll software
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Successful completion of a driver's check if the position requires driving on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Related education or certification
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
