Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Home Health and Hospice Scheduler at Senior Helpers - Greater Dallas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the delivery of home health and hospice services, ensuring that patient care is efficiently and effectively managed.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Coordination:
  • Schedule home health and hospice services for patients based on their care plans.
  • Coordinate and organize daily to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Communication:
  • Maintain regular communication with caregivers, and patients to confirm appointments and address any scheduling concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to scheduling and documentation.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address any challenges that may arise during the scheduling process.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of scheduling processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in scheduling
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Wellsky)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
