We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Line Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Trotter Workforce in Somerset, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and components against purchase orders
  • Accurately document inspection results and report to relevant departments
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address defects or inconsistencies in the assembly line
  • Perform final inspections of finished projects to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation and reporting processes for quality management systems
  • Work closely with the Quality Control Manager to refine inspection processes and implement improvements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in quality inspection or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably with electric products
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and electrical testing instruments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with different teams
  • Knowledge of calibration and equipment maintenance procedures
  • ASQ certification and experience a plus

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Trotter Workforce offers competitive compensation and benefits packages to its employees. The estimated hourly rate for this position is $19.25-$20.50 based on industry standards and location.
