We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care.

About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.

  • Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner Certificate issued by the Texas Medical Board.
  • RRT certification issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Ability to work nights and rotating weekends.
