The Nursing Manager plays a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of high-quality general and psychiatric nursing care, aligning with the facility's mission and objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing staffing and leading nursing administration initiatives, including Infection Control.
- Ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and facilitating Staff Education and competency assessments.
- Providing direct supervision on the patient care floor and acting as the Director of Nursing Designee when assigned.
- Supervising the nursing team to guarantee that inpatient programs are adequately resourced for optimal nursing care delivery.
- Assisting in the orientation of new staff members and collaborating with nursing personnel to uphold exceptional service and medical care standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Current RN license as mandated by Ohio State Law.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid CPR certification.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in personal care, nursing care, and related technical work, particularly in psychiatric settings.
- Prior supervisory experience is essential (2 years preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of practical nursing principles, patient age groups, and developmental processes relevant to these groups.
- Ability to observe, document, and report on the physical and mental conditions of patients, recognizing significant changes in their status.
- Capacity to interact tactfully with a diverse team of professionals, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory bodies.
- Familiarity with nursing and medical practices, as well as compliance with state, federal, and regulatory standards.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.
