Job Summary

As a key member of the Your Hiring Coaches team, the Accounting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations. Reporting to the Controller, this individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, providing strategic financial guidance, and collaborating with other departments to drive financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, including intercompany balances.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Oversee and manage general accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare the company for audit-ready financials and coordinate the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Prior public accounting experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
