About the Job

At Quality Talent Group, we're seeking an experienced Automotive Refinish Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes to our customers' vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform all refinish work according to specifications, ensuring a flawless finish every time.
• Match colors of paint following specified color charts, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Communicate the vehicle's stage in the paint process to our team, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient workflow.
• Monitor painting operations to identify flaws, such as blisters or streaks, and correct their causes, upholding our high standards of quality.
• Mix paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors, stir and thin the paints using spatulas or power mixing equipment, showcasing your technical expertise.
• Follow OEM standards for blending formulas, topcoat application, and curing, ensuring our work meets the highest industry standards.
• Apply designs, lettering, or other identifying decorative items to finished products, using paint brushes or paint sprayers, adding a personal touch to our work.
• Verify paint consistency, guaranteeing our customers receive a flawless finish.
• Lay out logos, symbols, or designs on painted surfaces, according to blueprint specifications, using measuring instruments, stencils, or patterns, demonstrating your attention to detail and creativity.

Qualifications

• Certifications in paint procedures, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• I-CAR certifications, showcasing your expertise in collision repair and refinish techniques.
• Prior refinish experience, highlighting your hands-on skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to receive and give direction, demonstrating your strong communication and leadership skills.
• Reliable work history, showcasing your commitment to quality and timeliness.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check, ensuring our customers' safety and trust in our team.
