Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Operate shut-off valves and equipment to ensure safe and efficient maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Display proficiency in multiple categories, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
  • Use safe work practices and follow company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.
  • Supervisory experience is not required.
