Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide transportation services for patients, including wheelchair and stretcher transport.
- Dispatch services and document patient information accurately.
- Observe and report patient status and needs to nursing staff.
- Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to support the efficient functioning of the nursing unit.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years patient care experience preferred.
- BLS certification required within one month of hire.
The physical demands of this role include frequent sitting, conversing, and listening, as well as the ability to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis. The employee must also be able to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day.
