Server Job Description

We are seeking a professional and hard-working Server to join our team at Double Dogs Chowhouse. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a guest-focused attitude and provide prompt and courteous service to all guests.
  • Operate within the Double Dogs' Teamwork Service System at all times, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Be prepared to assist guests, management, and fellow associates as instructed, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond to meet their needs.
  • Assume 100% responsibility for our guests' quality experience, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Project an outgoing and friendly personality at all times, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant environment, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
  • Comply with all Company policies, procedures, equipment usage, and service standards, upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Be prepared to exhibit and communicate complete knowledge regarding all products and services, ensuring that guests are informed and satisfied.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of products and supplies to assure efficient service, ensuring that our guests receive the best possible experience.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including the dining room and guest areas, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Handle, store, label, date, and rotate all products properly and consistently, ensuring that our guests receive the freshest and highest-quality products.
  • Comply with all company guidelines regarding Food Safety and Personal Safety, prioritizing the well-being and safety of our guests and colleagues.
  • Complete required tasks within assigned time frames, meeting deadlines and expectations.
  • Assist in maintenance, cleanliness, and/or other duties as assigned, demonstrating a willingness to adapt and contribute to the team's success.
  • Follow procedures for Opening, Closing, and on-going cleanliness, ensuring that our restaurant is always presented in its best possible light.
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently stand for long periods, meeting the physical demands of the role.
  • Capable of working in a standing position for long periods, maintaining a high level of energy and productivity.
  • Meet local minimum age requirements for alcohol service, ensuring that we can provide a safe and responsible service to our guests.
  • Obtain local permits and licenses required for serving and serving alcohol, upholding the highest standards of compliance and responsibility.
  • Ability to handle money responsibly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring that our guests receive the best possible service and experience.
