Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize production schedules, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Lean Manufacturing: Lead the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Financial Management: Manage profit and loss for the facility, drive plant performance, and review key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.
- Cost Reduction: Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives, capital planning, and resource allocation strategies.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient operation, adhering to company guidelines and local/state/federal regulations.
- Workforce Optimization: Conduct safety walks, talent reviews, and performance reviews to optimize the workforce.
- Customer and Supplier Interface: Interface with customers and suppliers, and establish positive community relationships.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business Management.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, and/or process improvement roles, including managing teams.
- Certifications: Previous experience working in a Lean environment, with Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification a plus.
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic extrusion blow molding.
- Commercial Experience: Experience in a commercial role with direct customer contact, and experience managing to ISO or equivalent quality standards.
