Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Allocate resources effectively to complete nightly workload efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate processing of merchandise.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop union workers in warehouse operations, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with inventory management and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance and adjust resources as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with safety manager to support safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety awareness.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience, with a focus on warehouse operations and management.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems, excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Language: Bilingual English and Creole preferred.
