About the Job

As a Patient Services Representative at HealthStop, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our medical practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for greeting patients, collecting and verifying patient information, scheduling appointments, and assisting with billing inquiries. You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, coordinate insurance coverage, and answer phones while documenting important information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our patients
  • Collecting and verifying patient information, including demographic and insurance details
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating outside testing
  • Assisting with billing inquiries and obtaining pre-authorizations for medical services
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, both electronic and paper-based
  • Coordinating insurance coverage and authorization
  • Answering phones and directing patient calls while documenting important information
  • Serving as a liaison between patients and the practice, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly
  • Completing daily reconciliation reports to ensure charges are accurately entered

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a front office role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $50,000 - $60,000, based on industry standards and location. Compensation may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
