About the Role
The City of Phoenix Water Services Department, a leading water utility, requires an Electronics Systems Supervisor to oversee technicians installing, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating metering devices, electronic systems, and process control computers. This role involves reviewing plans, coordinating work with computer analysts, and supervising I&C Specialists/Leads and Apprentices.

Responsibilities
Supervise skilled technicians in electronics and instrumentation maintenance and repair
Review and approve plans for new or modified instrumentation and computer systems
Coordinate work with computer analysts and programmers
Exercise supervision over I&C Specialists/Leads and I&C Apprentices

Requirements
Four years of experience in electronics and industrial instrumentation maintenance and repair, including one year in a supervisory capacity
Completion of two years of college-level courses in electronics or graduation from an electronic or instrumentation apprenticeship program
Prior experience in supervisory practices, motivational techniques, budget management, contracts, and construction projects is preferred
