Responsibilities:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures, such as myocardial perfusion imaging and PET scans.
  • Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to ensure accurate imaging results.
  • Operating and maintaining state-of-the-art nuclear medicine equipment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring patient conditions during procedures and providing compassionate care and support.
  • Analyzing imaging data to produce high-quality images for physician review.
  • Maintaining precise patient records and documentation for all procedures.
  • Collaborating with cardiologists, radiologists, and healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Following strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff.
  • Engaging in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine program.
  • Preferred minimum of one year of experience in the nuclear medicine field.
  • Current state licensure and registry in nuclear medicine through NMTCB and/or ARRT.
  • CPR certification.
