Premier Orthopaedics is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at our West Chester, PA Imaging Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures on patients, maintaining technical competency, and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI imaging procedures on patients in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols.
  • Complete and sign Patient Screening forms and explain procedures to patients.
  • Maintain technical competency through continued education and training.
  • Administer contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.
  • Cooperate with facility healthcare personnel and comply with facility policies and procedures.
  • Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed.
  • Provide images to the facility in the desired site format.
  • Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems.
  • May assist with the setup and tear down of equipment.
Requirements
  • Radiographer certification (ARRT) required.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Principles and practices of diagnostic radiographic procedures.
  • Basic chemistry, film apparatus, and film processing techniques.
