We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Premier Orthopaedics, a renowned leader in comprehensive orthopaedic care with over 50 locations across the Greater Philadelphia region.

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols. This includes completing and signing Patient Screening forms, explaining procedures to patients, and maintaining current Permits to Practice in all states where services are performed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols.
  • Complete and sign Patient Screening forms and explain procedures to patients.
  • Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states where services are performed.
  • Provide images to the facility in the desired site format.
  • Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems.
  • Assist with the setup and tear down of equipment in accordance with SMS and/or manufacturers' guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean environment inside and outside of the facility.
Requirements
  • Radiographer certification (ARRT) required.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Principles and practices of diagnostic radiographic procedures.
  • Basic chemistry, film apparatus, and film processing techniques.
  • Lift and position patients for the type of MRI procedure required.
  • Notice detail in drawings and differences in shapes and shadings.
