Primary Duties:

  • Installation: Execute the installation and wiring of electrical systems, machinery, and apparatus in compliance with electrical standards and codes.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify and rectify faults in systems and equipment.
  • Repair: Analyze malfunctioning systems and components, proposing solutions to restore operational integrity.
  • Testing: Employ testing instruments such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes to verify the safety and compatibility of electrical systems.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide the installation of electrical systems.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow established safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment and mitigate electrical hazards.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Maintain compliance with electrical codes and standards relevant to industrial operations.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside team members and contractors to effectively complete projects and address challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Systems Technician or in a comparable role within an industrial setting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and related tools; ability to comprehend and interpret technical documentation.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities to identify electrical problems and implement viable solutions.
  • Detail Orientation: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision in all installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
  • Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures pertinent to electrical work.

Education and Credentials:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Industrial Electricity
  • Valid electrician's license or journeyman certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as an Electrical Systems Technician.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with PLC programming and HMIs preferred
  • Certification in Electrical Code (24 volt DC to 460 volt 3 phase)

1st shift 7am - 3pm
40 hours per week with potential for overtime as necessary.
