About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at IOS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on all equipment products, including batch plants, while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment as needed.
  • Follow all work practices and procedures.
  • Utilize 5S standards to maintain a clean and safety work area.
  • Carry out verbal and written instructions from Foreman.
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance per PM schedule and provides feedback when PM schedule may require adjustments.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and schedule.
  • Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation.
  • Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Instrumental in the installation of new production equipment and required infrastructure.
  • Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree from technical college, a plus.
  • 3+ years of proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently.
  • Average proficiency in mathematics.
  • Good visual acuity.
