**Position Summary**

The Marching Band Competitive Drill Assistant will work under the direction of the Director of Bands to plan and execute marching band performances. This includes attending rehearsals and performances, implementing marching and music techniques, and teaching drill responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Attend all band functions, including competitions and performances.
  • Implement marching and music techniques in full ensemble and sectional settings.
  • Teach and clean drill responsibilities.
  • Run rehearsals visually and musically in sectionals.

**Qualifications and Requirements**

  • A strong leader with excellent skills in conducting, marching, choreography, and performance.
  • Extensive experience in the marching arts (DCI, WGI, college marching band, etc).

**Compensation and Benefits**

We offer an estimated salary of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This position is available for the 24-25 school year. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
