Job Summary

The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial functions of Dignity Health Medical Group, including budgeting, cost accounting, decision support, management engineering, financial analysis, and special projects. This role will support the 3 Physician Enterprise medical groups in the Arizona and Nevada markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, analyze, and interpret key financial performance indicators to recommend corrective action.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
  • Assist departments with budget compliance and conduct budget and analysis training as needed.
  • Provide assistance with special projects, such as evaluating new business opportunities and developing related proformas and business plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of accounting and finance experience in a large organization, with at least three years in healthcare.
  • Five to ten years of progressive managerial experience in Ambulatory Healthcare/IDS Medical Group.
  • Self-starter with strong relationship-building skills.
