Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Are you a skilled diesel mechanic looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Amwaste LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team.

Job Summary

As a diesel mechanic at Amwaste LLC, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our waste collection vehicles and equipment. You will work closely with our drivers and other team members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure the longevity of our vehicles and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with diesel engines and other equipment, making repairs as needed.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Attend safety meetings and classes to stay up-to-date on the latest safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of diesel engine operation and maintenance principles.
  • Experience with vehicle and equipment diagnostics and repair.
  • Skills in the use of tools and equipment used in the maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
