Job Summary

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, audit, and risk management functions within the Accounting/Finance Department. This role will work closely with the MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC team.

About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electronics (PE) systems, which are critical components in the production of electric vehicles. The company utilizes state-of-the-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting and procedural standards.
  • Calculate, reconcile, and process payments, invoices, account statements, and other financial documents according to established procedures.
  • Perform month-end closing duties, including entering invoices and budgets into the SAP system.
  • Assist in creating departmental budgets and monitoring each department's budget status.
  • Support the preparation of various reports related to expenses, inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable as needed.
  • Manage investments related to tangible and intangible assets.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks within a defined timeframe.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy, using data to identify problems.
  • Ensure all invoices are approved by the responsible department and Head of Department.
  • Support audit and other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the related field.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Business letters and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of applicable accounts receivable/general ledger systems and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of a multicultural work environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work late hours and some holidays as needed.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Working knowledge of the Finance or Accounting field.
  • Finance experience in the automotive industry.
  • Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred but not mandatory.
  • SAP experience preferred but not mandatory.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

CPA preferred but not mandatory

Working Conditions

Office setting, repetitive standing and walking within and in between buildings.
