Job Summary: The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in developing and sustaining diverse financial models for cash flow forecasting, valuation assessments, and ad hoc analyses pertinent to fund and corporate financial performance.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain insights into the SFR and build-for-rent (BFR) real estate sectors within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling: Construct and maintain various in-house real estate cash flow models to assess and project investment performance at both fund and market levels for SFR and BFR assets.
  • Performance Analytics: Assist in general and administrative forecasts and contribute to fund performance analytics, including return and sensitivity analyses.
  • Valuation Reporting: Prepare routine fund portfolio valuation reports utilizing discounted cash flow, cost basis, and direct capitalization methodologies.
  • Industry Research: Monitor key sector indicators, supply and demand dynamics, and macroeconomic metrics at both national and metropolitan statistical area levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Real Estate, or an MBA.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a financial analyst in real estate investment, property management, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with GAAP reporting; understanding of IFRS is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn programming languages such as VBA, R, and SQL.
