Job Title: Senior Avionics Technician

Job Summary:

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Avionics Technician to join our team. As a Senior Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on aircraft.
  • Develop and implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising Safety or Quality.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure a skilled and safety-conscious workforce.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot and teach troubleshooting processes to provide timely and quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
  • Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  • Set up and operate necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
  • Enforce company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience.
  • A & P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
