About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Ohio Living Breckenridge Village. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in accordance with planned menus and quality standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist with catering and special events, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • One year of quantity or restaurant-style cooking experience, with a focus on quality, production, and presentation.
  • Knowledge of food, cooking methods, and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, and presentation.
  • Experience in food cost and operational control, point of sale, and diet management software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
