Avionics Systems Designer

As an Avionics Systems Designer at Argo Space, you will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of avionics systems for our reusable in-space transport vehicles and lunar surface systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the high performance, reliability, and safety of these systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop avionics systems that meet company and mission goals, providing new capabilities for the in-space economy
- Collaborate with the Argo leadership team to understand customer requirements and feed those into vehicle and architecture design
- Drive rapid execution and iteration efforts to put hardware in orbit quickly
- Foster technical excellence and ownership within the Avionics engineering team
- Negotiate requirements by having a deep understanding of the company and mission objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline
- 3+ years of experience designing complex electrical and/or control systems that operate in harsh environments
- Capable of maintaining flexibility in direction under changing circumstances
- Track record of delivering novel, excellent technical products
